Obituary
Rose Marie Cow (Rowntree) – Passed away peacefully on October 29th, 2023, at The Wellington House, Prescott in her 86th year. Marie was born in Morley Yorkshire, England in 1937 to Miriam (Binks) and Charles Rowntree.
She will be dearly missed by her sister Vi Hayton, children Terry McPherson, Steven (Laurie), Sam Lyon (Stephen), Chris Cow (Anne), and grandchildren, Victor, Greg, Nick, Steven, Jack, Gabriel, Quinn, great-grandchildren Grant and Hannah.
She was predeceased by her sister Christine Henry and husbands Gleyn Lyon (2016) and David Cow (2013).
The family would like to thank The Wellington House for their exceptional care of Marie over these past few months.
A visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 11:00 am until the service at 12:00 pm. Followed by a reception at the James Reid Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society.
