Richard Allen “Al” Kirby
Passed away peacefully at home on Friday Nov. 15, 2024 at 74 years, following a lengthy illness. Al will be forever loved and missed by his wife Anne (nee Parsons) of 44 years, dearly loved sons; Christopher, Thomas John (T.J.), Matthew and stepson Eric. Al adored his grandchildren; Terry, Christian, Tori, Taylor, Ryley, Tiffany, Owen, Vinny and great grandchildren; Allexandra and Tatum. Loving brother of Cheryl (Terry) and Tony (Susie). Predeceased by brother Tom. Al was a lover of the outdoors and was able to spend time in the place he loved with those he cared about until the very end. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday Nov. 30, 2024, from 2:00pm – 4:00[m at James Reid Funeral Home 1900 John Counter Blvd. Kingston. Please enter through the rear doors at the back of the building. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario) or your choice.
