Peggy Vera MYLES (née Vandervoort)
Passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights in Kingston, Ontario with loving family by her side on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in her 80th year.
Predeceased by her late husband and best friend, Edward Myles (2015), her cherished son, Dean Myles (2020), sister, Marjorie Burke (2024) and brother-in-law, George White (2021). Loving mother of Debbie, Tammy (Brian Swain), Robert (Mary Holly), proud grandmother of Nicole Revell (Josh), Jordan Swain, Owen Myles, Vanessa Myles, Sydney Allen, Gavin Myles, Payton Myles, and adored great-grandmother of Blakely, Rilyn and Clay Revell. Also surviving is her brother, George Vandervoort (Andi), sister, Deanna White, numerous nieces, nephews, and brother-in-law John Burke. Mom was a woman of resilience. Her kindness, generosity and devotion to her family will be greatly missed. She was blessed with wonderful family, friends, great neighbours, doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, support staff and PSWs throughout her decline. In her final years, Mom received the care and compassion she had shown to others, facing her illnesses with great strength and determination until the end.
As we navigate our first Christmas holiday and thereafter without Mom, the family requests in lieu of flowers or donations, please be kind to yourself and others, visit someone who is alone without family.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in the spring with a celebration of life to follow.
