Agnes “Nancy” Roberts
With sadness, we announce the passing of Agnes McQuillan Carmichael Roberts, known to friends as Nancy, in Kingston, Ontario on April 18, 2024, at the age of 94. Born in Stirling, Scotland, Nancy emigrated to Canada in 1958. She loved her family, travel, the pursuit of knowledge, and the arts. Nancy received her first university degree (in mathematics) in 1991 and her third (in Spanish literature) in 1999. She is survived by her sister Anne, sons Stuart and Alasdair, and grandchildren Colin, John, and Constance. In keeping with Nancy’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no ceremony.
