Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Louise McLaughlin announces her passing on the 21st of October 2023 at the age of 99 years.
Louise (Weezie) was born in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia to Gertrude (Nee Devan) and Spurgeon Naugler.
She married Lewis Webster McLauchlin in 1945.
She is survived by three children, Patrick, Daniel and Michele, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She is joining her husband Lewis, her sister Alice (Eugene) Paquette and her brother Harry (Gertrude “Trudy”) Naugler in the afterlife.
Louise’s many talents included hair dressing, seamstress, knitting, flower arranging and was a wonderful artist, excelling in water colour painting.
She volunteered for many years and had many friends at St.Basil’s in Ottawa. We all enjoyed being beaten by her at cards especially cribbage and hearts.
Her wonderful cooking skills and awesome cheese bread were enjoyed by all her family and friends.
A special thank you to the caring staff at Providence Manor.
A gentle Lady.
