Linda Smith
Passed peacefully in her 84th year surrounded by her family, on Friday, December 6th, 2024. She is survived in marriage by Barney Smith, and her children: Jeff Baldwin (Aleesha Camp), Steve Baldwin, Kimm Joyce (Frank), Vicki Baldwin (Enos Hillier), and Jenn Collett (Jeff). She was predeceased by her son, Rick Baldwin (Lori Borthwick) and her former husband, Ronald Baldwin.
Linda was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Holly Moyse (Wayne Gendron), Lynn Moyse (Connie) and Sandra Burton (Mark). She was predeceased by her sister, Heather Hulme (Fred).
Linda was a strong, determined and resilient woman who fearlessly and tirelessly fought for her family. she worked in a variety of jobs, but her greatest accomplishment was founding her own bridal business, designing and sewing bridal wear for over 20 years. After retiring, she enjoyed hobbies such as quilting and painting with a dear group of friends.
In her final years, Linda received the care and compassion she had always shown to others, facing her illnesses with strength and determination until the end.
The family will welcome visitors for a drop-in Celebration of Life on Wednesday, December 11th, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston. A private family service and internment will be held at a later date.
