Kirsten Lind Giugovaz passed peacefully in her 86th year with family by her side on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Beloved wife of her late husband Stelio (January 19, 2007) and daughter Mona Lisa (July 24, 1997). Loving mother to Roberto (Rose) and Michael (Yvonne). Loved Nana/Bedstenmor to Erika, Julia, Emma, and Samuel. Loved and remembered by her sister Ki, sister-in-law Maria, son-in-law Ian Holness, many nieces, nephews, family and friends from Canada to Italy to her homeland Denmark.
The family will be accepting visitors at James Reid Funeral home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm. There will be a Liturgy of the Word on Saturday, December 14, 2024, beginning at 10:30 am, followed by an inurnment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens and then a reception at James Reid Reception Centre.
Donations in lieu of flowers to University Hospital Kingston Foundation – Cancer Centre or Heart and Stroke.
