Kenneth Leo Kent
February 22nd, 1962 – October 7th, 2024
After a long battle with cancer, and a strong determination to defy the odds, Ken passed away on Monday, October 7th. He suffered a heart attack doing what he enjoyed, working on the wood pile on a bright sunny day. Left to grieve his death is his devoted wife Katherine Hinch and their daughter, Avery, whom he cherished.
Ken is also survived by his sister Kim Fargey (Doug) and was a special uncle to Carson, Brittney (Connor) and Hunter (Christi). Dear brother-in-law of Danny (Patti) and Peter (Nancy) and their children, Meredith (Colton), Gabrielle (Andrew), Jessica (Jackson) and Clare (Daniel). He was a proud great uncle of Ruby, Lucy, Harper, Theodore, Charlotte, Aubrey, Harper, Wesley, and Elliot.
He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Muriel (Pringle) Kent. He will be truly missed by the Hinch, Kent and Pringle families as well as many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 1-5pm at Wartman Funeral Home Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, KHSC Cancer Clinic or L&A County General Hospital would be appreciated. Condolences and donations may be forwarded through wartmanfuneralhomes.com
