Joyce Doreen Malley Obituary
Joyce Malley, age 84, passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday January 27th 2024, after many health challenges made more difficult by Alzheimers.
Joyce had lived for the past few years at the Kingsbridge Retirement Home in Kingston. Her family would like to express gratitude for the excellent care and companionship she received there. Joyce will certainly be remembered as a kind, caring and witty person.
Joyce had a long career at Empire Life, as the Secretary of St. Andrews United Church, and as one of the inaugural franchisees of Pet Valu Canada.
Joyce leaves behind, and will be deeply missed by, her son Jason, daughter-in-law Gwen, grandchildren Breanna and Victoria, great grandchildren Oliver and Levi, her sister Shirley, brother Gary and their families, as well the large extended families of the Bradshaw United Empire Loyalists.
A small private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Joyce’s memory can best be served by giving a hug to your loved ones, and remembering to be kind and compassionate, just like she was.
