Leeman, Gail (nee Blair)
June 23, 1939 – December 30, 2023
Gail passed away due to illness, December 30, 2023, at Providence Care Hospital, at the age of 84. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Art and their son Blair (Laurie).
She is predeceased by her parents Mel and Matilda Blair. She was sister-in-law to Art’s many siblings and aunt to several nieces and nephews and their extended families.
Gail was a registered nurse, who worked at Dupont (Invista) and Providence Manor for most of her career. She loved talking on the phone to friends and family, dinner outings, and hosting parties at the house or cottage. As well, she cherished the adventures that she had with Art and Blair and various friends over the years, which included a variety of weekend excursions and extended vacations.
Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON) Monday January 8, 2024, for a visitation from 12:00-12:50 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 pm followed by interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. A Reception will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home after the interment.
Donations in lieu of flowers, can be made to BCAK (Breast Cancer Action Kingston) or UKHF – Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario.
