Frances Helena Day Obituary
Frances Helena Day (nee Clark) has said farewell to her earthly body on November 21 with family present while in the care of Rideaucrest Home in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late George; dearest Mum of Clark and his wife Laurie, and David and his partner Catherine Elliott; cherished Grandma of Taryn Roudney (Andrew), Matthew (Laurie), Chelsea, Caitlin, and Fiona Le Roux (Emile); doting GG to Jack, Sofia, Nikolas and Nora; dear sister of Elspeth White (Clyde), and daughter of the late Harold and Harriet Clark.
Fran spent her years providing care for her community through her roles as a KGH nurse, VON Meals on Wheels coordinator and active member of Edith Rankin MUC.
A woman of great esteem, her kindness, steadiness & total devotion to family and friends will be greatly missed.
The family will be accepting visitors at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and 5:00 – 7:00 pm. There will be a Funeral Service at Edith Rankin Memorial United Church, 4080 Bath Road, Kingston later in the week followed by a reception and then a private family burial at Heritage Cemetery at Cataraqui.
