Clara Sovey Obituary
Sovey, Clara Elizabeth (nee Nield) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband Clinton “Dick” Sovey and daughter Patricia O’Prey. She will be missed by her children Carol Reitmeir, Robert Mallette (Nancy), Louis Mallette, and Mary Foley (Jeff). Beloved grandma to Cory, Joshua, Gary, Jamie, Melissa, Jason, Michelle, Jamie, Christopher, Chrystal, Tiffany, Michael, and Mason and great-grandmother to numerous great-grandchildren. Also missed by many extended family and friends.
Clara was an avid reader, she spent many hours working away at word puzzles and loved a good scratch ticket. She enjoyed a nice snack when visiting with family or friends or watching her favourite TV show.
The family would like to invite you to a visitation at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd on Saturday, January 13, 2024, 1:00 – 2:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery at 3:00 pm. If attending the graveside, please arrive at James Reid Funeral Home no later than 2:45 pm. Memorial donations can be made to Salvation Army in Clara’s honour.
