Barry Stewart Nicholas Obituary
Nicholas; Barry – It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Nicholas, of Kingston, Ontario, following a lengthy and courageously fought battle with cancer. Barry was the beloved husband of Moira and father of Richard, step-father of Jeremy Taylor and grandfather of Ethan and Tristan Taylor.
Barry was a talented jack of all trades, master of most. In his younger years he was also a gifted musician and entertainer, who could make an audience sing, dance, laugh, cry, or just be quiet to listen to every note.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life (Barry style) will be held in the near future. Special thanks to the Palliative Clinic and Palliative Community teams of KHSC and Queen’s University and also to Bayshore Transitional Unit and all of their caring staff, and our visiting community nurse who proved to be an inspiring sparring partner for Barry.
So many wonderful people – hugs to all.
