Anna Geertruida (Truus) Timan (Lameris) passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston, 17 July 2024 and is now in the arms of her saviour Jesus Christ. Anna (Truus) was born in The Hague, Netherlands 24 February 1927 to Warmolt and Trijntje Elizabeth Lameris (Willemstijn). Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Johan Fredrik (Frits) Timan, her sisters Helena (Lenie) and Liesbeth and her twin brother Pieter and half sister Annie (Anneke). Lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren; Evelyn, Roelef (Ralph) Vanderlinde; Nathan, Jamie Vanderlinde; Madison, Avery; Lisa, Brandon Apps; Gabrielle, Kendall; Karen, Steve Dobbs; Ari, Riley; Peter, Nancy Timan; David Timan, Erin Allen; Anneke, Jeremy Gretton; Clara, Peter; Marlene (Rommert deceased) Vandermeer, Mehran (Mike) Malayeri; Brandon, Ashleigh Vandermeer; Lily, Thomas (TJ), Sophie; Joel Vandermeer, Nicole Dunkerley; Kim Timan; Jason Snider, Shawnda Enright; Cole, Olivia; Cally, Paul Barrett. Private family interment has taken place 22 July 2024. Friends will be received at The First Christian Reformed Church of Kingston Monday, 5 August 2024 at 1:00 pm followed by a celebration of life and service at 2:00 pm and a reception following the service. Despite many losses and hardships, Anna held to her strong faith throughout her life. Anna was active in her church and community sharing her gifts of music and leadership. Deep appreciation is given to Home and Community Care, the many wonderful nurses and PSWs, the VON SMILE program and Doctor Kondor who all made it possible for Anna to remain in her home until illness brought her under the wonderful care of the Providence Care palliative care team in June. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Kingston Christian School, First Christian Reformed Church of Kingston, Providence Care Hospital – Palliative Care or the VON.
