It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael Thomas Christopher, on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. He was in his 86th year.
Predeceased by his wife, Jean Christopher (née MacKinnon).
Beloved father of Tom Christopher and Steve Christopher.
Missed by his grandchildren, Michael, Rachael and Liam and his great-grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by sisters Barbara and Ann and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Agnes (née Downey) Christopher and brother Richard.
Michael loved people and liked nothing better than relaxing on his front porch and entertaining all who dropped by for a visit. There was always time for conversation and a refreshment. He enjoyed a game of pool, working in his immaculate flower gardens, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and going for a drive in his fire engine red Ford Mustang. Michael is now at peace and with the one he adored the most, his wife Jean.
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service to honour Michael ‘s life will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine in the spring. Details will be published when finalized.
Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
