Passed away suddenly with his wife by his side on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 at the age of 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Carolyn Paul for a beautiful 35 years. Beloved father of Anthony Paul, Adam DiFiore and predeceased by his daughter Lori Paul. Cherished Papa of Jessie Paul, Taylor Paul and Jayden Paul. Dear brother-in-law of Rita Borges. Uncle of Gabriel, Jeremy and Gregory Borges. Gib served in the Royal Canadian Navy as an underwater weapons specialist and diver. He was also a proud member of the Georgina Volunteer Firefighters and became chief from 1971-1986, followed by 35 years at the Keswick post office. Gib will be greatly missed by his extended family, the Cirivello’s, the Musso’s, the Salemi’s, the Robinson’s & their families, and all his friends that met for a chinwag and a brewski every Thursday.
Visitation will be held at M. W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Interment to take place at Queensville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
