Passed away peacefully at Osgoode Care Centre on June 27, 2024, at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Verna (Brown). Loving father of Richard (Helene), Linda Wyman (Dale), Hilda Stone (Charlie), Darrell (Annette) and Vera Jones. Special Grandpa to numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Archie Seymour and Eliza Jane (Crowder). Dear brother of Georgina Madigan (late Danny), June Vienneau (Adrien), predeceased by Ernie, Garnet, Donelda, Darlo Langlotzs (David), Elmer (Kay), Gordon, Muriel Bowler (Allen), Mervin (Mary) and Violet Welshman (Jack). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Grenville worked for Christie Transport, Ken Seymour Trucking and B&M Carriers. Enjoyed the time he spent with his beloved dog Toby. He spent many years camping at Sandy Mountain Camp Site and Grenville Park and during that time making many new friends. He was a member of Legion BR212 participating in darts, horseshoes and Legion Ceremonies A special thanks to the staff of Kemptville Bayfield Retirement Community for the wonderful care given to Grenville after the passing of his wife Verna and to the staff of Osgoode Care Centre for the care given to Grenville for the last three months and also for the touching Angel Walk. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society and The Canadian Lung Association gratefully accepted. Funeral Services will be posted once confirmed
