In loving memory of Elwood Roy “Woody” Spring, who passed away on January 21, 2024, in his 86th year. He was the devoted husband for 64 years of Sandra Spring (Wright). Loving father of Daniel Spring (Derek Langevin) and Dawna Hamilton (Don). Loving grandfather to Sarah (Liam Joy), Ben (Abby) and recent great grandfather to Corben and Rory. Dear son of the late Alice and Elmer Spring (Barrie Ontario), brother to Barb (late Ray Dobson) and the late Bob Spring (Flo). He is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Woody worked at Ontario Hydro as an electrical operator. He loved Hockey and still played until he was 80 years old.
Friends may visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Saturday May 25, 2024, from 10 am until a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 am followed by a reception at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to SouthBridge for all their care and support. Woody, you are now at peace, and you will live forever in our hearts.
