We regret to announce the death of René Charlebois, at the age of 90 years, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. René loved to travel, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, socializing and dancing.
René leaves in mourning his daughter, Lori-Ann Charlebois (René Major) of Kapuskasing; his companion, Estelle DeGrace of Kapuskasing; daughter-in-law, Sylvie Boily (Réjean) of Kapuskasing; six grandchildren: Andrew, Kyla, Andréanne, Christine, Dominique and Michel; three great-grandchildren: Chloe, Carly and Carter; as well as his sister, Claire Charlebois.
René was predeceased by his wife, Wilma; his children: Theresa, Rick and Mike (late Kellie); and three siblings: Armand, Claude and Rita Godard.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick’s church with Father John Okoh officiating. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy. ©

René laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Lori-Ann Charlebois (René Major) de Kapuskasing; sa compagne, Estelle DeGrace de Kapuskasing; une belle-fille, Sylvie Boily (Réjean) de Kapuskasing; six petits-enfants : Andrew, Kyla, Andréanne, Christine, Dominique et Michel; trois arrière-petits-enfants : Chloe, Carly et Carter; ainsi que sa sœur, Claire Charlebois.
René fut prédécédé par son épouse, Wilma; ses enfants : Theresa, Rick et Mike (feue Kellie); deux frères : Armand et Claude; et sa sœur, Rita Godard.
La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 23 novembre 2024, à 10h30, en l’église St. Patrick, avec le Père John Okoh comme célébrant. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
