On Sunday, July 28th, 2024 James (Jim) Rix, age 82, passed away at Albright Manor surrounded by his family. Born October 28th, 1941, in Thunder Bay, James was the father of Dennis Rix and Julie Ann Daley (Joseph) and grandfather to Rae Ann Daley and Wesley Daley. James was an avid outdoorsman, kayaker, canoer and camper. He was a very skilled craftsman even making his own kayaks and canoes.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no service and private cremation is to take place. We would like thank Albright Manor for the care and compassion they gave to my dad. If desired, memorial contributions to McNally House Hospice, Albright Manor or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
