  1. Mike was a very good friend of mine for about fiteen years, A man of few words, but his word was his bond. A more honourable man never walked the earth. We used to meet for Coffee when ever Mike felt up to it, and we shared plans for making some airplane kits when I retire in June., sadley this will not happen now. I will miss his sense of humour, humilty and intelligence. My last e mail from him was “Hope to see you in May, Jamesons….. my treat.” I know he was so very proud of all his Children, and I hope that is a comfort to them now. Mike had no illusions about what the future held for him, but he faced the inevitable with Grace, Bravery and a touch of humour. I am so very proud to say he was my friend, I just wish it had been for much longer. Peace at last Mike…. Steve Davie.
