Mary Shering (nee Beleskey) of Innisfil, Ontario, passed peacefully with her husband and children at her side on September 10, 2024, after a brief illness. Born January 28, 1951 to the late Vernon Derwood, and Mildred Leona Beleskey (nee McKnight). Mary is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ed; children Jennifer and Lucas (Ruth); her beloved grandchildren Ava, Edea and Livia. These girls were her greatest joy. She is also survived by 4 loving brothers, Joe (the late Helen), Ron (Linda), John (Helen), and David (Lee Anne); and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Edward Vernon (2006) (Jennie Lee, partner Bill). Mary will be dearly missed by the Shering and Beleskey families and her friends. Cremation has taken place as Mary wished. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto.
