With family by his side on September 29th, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Frank’s passing.
Born March 17, 1946, to the late Walter and Maria Ivanski of Poland, with his mother, Frank immigrated from Germany at the age of three to Innisfil, Ontario.
Frank in his 79th year was the beloved husband of the late Trudy (Calder).
Loving father of Courtney (Cameron Shields), Todd and the late Kyle.
Prized Papa of Teegan and Kaleb (Shields).
Frank will be greatly missed by his loving sister, Halina and his remarkable nieces and nephews.
Frank was an avid sports fan, nothing brought him more joy than cheering on his grandkids playing sports and perhaps a little slip of a critique to the officials.
He had an amazing friend group who he gathered with daily over coffee.
Frank was an animal lover, caring for a range of farm animals, rabbits, birds and dogs. He will not be forgotten by Oakley and his little Mabel.
He will be remembered for his kind, sweet heart, his concern for others and a presence in the community.
Family and friends are invited to the Innisfil Funeral Home on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Visitation from 11:00am to 12:00pm followed by a service at 12:00pm.
All are welcome to join us for a reception, where light refreshments will be served and an opportunity to share your fond memories of Frank.
