PACKHAM, Isabella Caroline (nee Windram)
Born March 2, 1937, in her 87th year. Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2023 at Sakura House, with her granddaughter, Jamie, holding her hand.
Isabella was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles (Charlie) Packham (2015). She is survived by her five loving daughters, Karen Gibson, Kim (Bill) Teslak, Darlene (Rick) Durston, Kathy (Ray) Van der Woude and Laurie Brady. Cherished Grandmother to Angela (Drew) Lampkin, Michael (Miriah) Gibson, Amy Durston, Chad (Jess) Van der Woude, Michelle Durston, Kevin (Neeti) Van der Woude, Jamie (Graedon) O’Leary, Matthew Teslak and Nicole O’Leary. Great Grandmother to Bradyn Lampkin, Brooke Lampkin, Teagan Gibson, and Harlow Gibson. Survived by her younger sister, Ruth Ann (Ed) Latimer, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Andrew Windram, brother Tom (Suzanne) Windram and sister Wanda (Max) Lockey, and grandson, Adam Gibson (2012).
The family is so very grateful to all the PSW’s from VON who cared for Mom during her last years at home, also to the wonderful nurses in Palliative Care at Woodstock General Hospital and the amazing staff and volunteers at Sakura House during her final days. We are so thankful for all you did to make Mom’s last days peaceful and dignified. Special thanks also to Kelly Elliott for providing such loving care to our Mom.
There will no visitation or service. Isabella will be laid to rest with Charlie at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery, where a private family graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sakura House would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
