Obituary of Judith “Judy” Mary Martin
MARTIN, Judith “Judy” Mary peacefully after a long battle with Huntington’s disease at Owen Sound Hospital on Saturday October 19, 2024. Judy Martin of Sauble Beach at the age of 60. Loving Mother of Shelby Mole (Steve), and Shaunacy De Jong-Strain (Brandon). Beloved Grandma Judy to Jaxon, Blake, and Bennett. Cherished Daughter of June Martin. Dear Sister of Ron Martin. Predeceased by her Father Bruce Martin.
Judy graduated in 1985 from Humber College as a Registered Nursing Assistant, she practiced briefly before working full time at her parents’ campground, Sauble Beach Resort Camp. Judy worshipped the sunshine and enjoyed spending the winter in Riverview, Florida with her parents as well as going on many cruises with her family.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Sauble Beach United Church on Wednesday October 23rd at 2p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. Interment Zion Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Huntington’s Society of Canada.
