CLIFFORD, John Garfield ‘Garth’ at Owen Sound Hospital on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Garth Clifford of Southampton in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Marion Clifford (nee Shular). Cherished father of Kevin Clifford of Edmonton and step-father of Rick Overland of Owen Sound and Margaret Overland of Dobbinton and step father-in-law of Larry Payne of Kitchener. Much loved grandfather of several grandchildren. Dear brother of Pauline Fenton (Ron) of Victoria, B.C. and brother-in-law of Ralph Shular (Darlene), Doug Shular (Barb), Elgin Shular (Gail), Harvey Shular (Joyce) and Isabel Charlton (Dave). Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Doris (nee Robinson) and Johnston Clifford, brother Gordon and sister Carol Trent. daughter Donna Clifford, step-daughter Patricia Payne and step daughter-in-law Shirley Overland.
Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at the Southampton Cemetery, Southampton on Thursday, Septemer 5th at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of remembrance to the Southampton Hospital c/o Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
