It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Henry who passed away at Billings Court Manor, on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the age of 95. Devoted husband to Stella Rudachyk (formerly know as Zaharie {nee Bober}) to whom he has lovingly been married to for 30 years. Cherished father to Barry Rudachyk of Hunstville, Brenda (Frank) Neumann of Toronto, Tom Rudachyk of Sunridge, Connie Bruner of London and step-father to Deborah (Jerry) Belanger Ottawa, Diane (Everett) Kent of Newmarket, Colette Zaharie of Ottawa and Michael Zaharie of Lindsay. Proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchild. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends across Canada. Predeceased by his first wife Muriel Rudachyk (nee Skolrood {1993}) as well as his parents Thomas and Helen Rudachyk (nee Dropak), and his 8 siblings. Henry may be gone from this world; however, he lives on in the stories and memories he has left with all those he touched during his lifetime. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday October 29, 2024 from 12-1 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the chapel on the same day at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
