Glenn Frederick Wilson, of Elmwood, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, December 13, 2024. He was 70.
Born in Toronto on February 24, 1954 to the late Clinton and Winnifred (nee McMullen) Wilson. Glenn enjoyed a good hot coffee at the Hanover Tim Hortons and will be missed by not only the “girls” but the group of friends cherished there as well as when he would go to his “McDonald’s Group” for their share of catching up and just enjoying everyone’s company. In the summer, he enjoyed hitting the links at various golf courses and of course being surrounded by family and friends as well as enjoying all types of woodworking.
Survived by loving children Christopher, Shannon, Shawna (Yohann) and Kayla Wilson. Loved brother of Phillip (Michelle) Wilson of Toronto. Predeceased by his wife Debbie (nee Peart), who predeceased him just this past April, his parents and by his brother Bruce Wilson.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration in the spring at his home by the Saugeen River, of which he loved so much, will be held.
Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mightonfuneralhome.ca
