It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael Leo Hamilton on December 6th, 2023 at the age of 41.
Mike is survived and will be greatly missed by his beloved son’s Cooper and Hudson Hamilton who will fondly remember the trips to camp along with many fishing, tubing, and snowmobiling excursions.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Donald and Jaqueline Hamilton (nee Vandeligt), grandparent Theresa (nee Lalonde), brother Mark (Kylie), nephew Carter, niece Olivia, girlfriend Lindsey Gervais along with many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Leo Hamilton as well as Christine and Theodore Vandeligt
Mike was an avid outdoorsman and called Onaping Lake his second home where he will be missed by his many friends on the lake. He was a highly skilled licensed technician who will be affectionately remembered as the guy who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who required it. A registered organ donor, his final act of kindness was helping four recipients further their own lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cooper and Hudson Hamilton Trust would be appreciated.
Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer where friends may gather from 2-6pm on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023.
