In loving memory of Gisèle Cooney (née Rainville), 75 years who passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her home.
Beloved wife of Orval Cooney predeceased 2010. Loving mother of Paul Cooney and Michelle Chartrand (Keith). Cherished grandmother of Crystal (Yves Berthiaume), Brandon, Shawn, Krisstara and Amanda (Don Mosher) and great grandchildren Rock, Max, Luxcey and Mason. Dear daughter of Paul and Gertrude Rainville both predeceased. Dear sister of Gilles predeceased, Roger, Pauline predeceased, Sue, Claire predeceased, Paul and Marcel. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and she will especially be missed by her fur baby Daisy.
Gisèle loved the outdoors, especially fishing and she would fish in a boat even though she couldn’t swim. She loved her family very much and loved spending time with them. She will be missed dearly!
Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 1pm.
(Friends may gather after 10am Sunday).
Interment in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
