Rickey (Rick) Coons November 24, 1957 – February 21, 2024
Rick was born and raised in Hamilton and became a professional welder. He set the standard in his field. In his final years, Rick brought his skills and attention to detail to life by volunteering to help create living environments for those less fortunate. His selfless and unconditional efforts provided comfortable homes for people Rick would never meet. Rick challenged all of us to be better versions of ourselves. He fought cancer valiantly throughout his final months and succumbed peacefully knowing that he was not alone. May Rick be rewarded eternally for his friendship and his kind heart and passion for excellence in everything he touched. Friends and family will be received at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 7 East Ave. S. on Tuesday March 5th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m.
