Passed away suddenly at Extendicare Nursing Home on October 26, 2023
at the age of 94 years. Survived by his loving and caring wife Alicia. Remembered by
his sister-in-law Maria Teresa Unno from Argentina, his nephew Larry Letho and wife Tina from California and nephews Teuvo, Katarina and Seneka from Finland. Will be sadly missed by his best friend Herbie who he had a lifetime friendship. He has now rejoined his beloved schnauzer Humu. Pauli was born in Finland on March 2nd 1929 and immigrated to Canada in 1952 working for a short time California on his trade. Pauli was a proud member of the Local 67. He was also proud of his physical strength keeping his daily routine of going to the gym and finishing his workout with a sauna into his early 90s. Special thanks to Extendicare Nursing Home that worked diligently in making him feel comfortable and taking care of him on the last weeks of his life. Also, thank you to Dr. Rassam who was his favourite, took the time to listen and understand his strong mind.
