A fighter to the end, Dan passed comfortably with family at his side. Beloved husband for 48 years of Christine. Proud father of Shannon (Chad) and Danielle (Mark). Cherished grandfather of Molly, Sophia and Max. Predeceased by parents Bill and Bernice. Loving brother of Pat Manorek (Brian), Lynn Fleming (the late Dave), Bev Leach (Brian), Carol Hughes (Larry) and the late Don Buckley (Cindy). Brother-in-law to Barry (Joyce) Preston. Dan was also very well loved by many nieces and nephews. Dan had a passion for cars and could often be seen driving around town in his Saturn Sky Roadster. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at the Caledonia Lions Community Lions Community Centre on Sunday February 25, 2024 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. In honor of Dan, if you have a favourite Hawaiian shirt please wear it. Special thanks to the amazing staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and compassion. If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
