It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of a lovingl wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on December 8, 2023 just one month shy of her 85th birthday. Beloved wife of 62 years to Victor. Loving mother of Tanya (Sam) and Alex (Melissa). Nanna of Aaron (Lauren), Brandon, Jessica (Andrew), Riley (Ivana), Morgan, Camryn, Christian, Madaleine, Payton, Ashley (Ruben), Allan, Dennis (Angelique) and great grandmother of Sharlette, Laci, Colt, Olivia, Mason, Sianna, Chelsea, Christian, Chloe, and Eden. Cherished sister of Tessie, Effie (Victor), Mary, Mike, Joe (Carmen), Salvu (Miriam) and sister-in-law of Laurie, Johnny, Gemma and Joe (Freda). Predeceased by her parents Manuel and Josephine Busuttil, parents-in-law Anthony and Mary Micallef, siblings Connie (Joe), Luis, Manuel, Tilde, and siblings-in-law Albert (Carmen), Dolores, Frankie, Carmen (George) and Helen. Carmen will be remembered by many dear friends and relatives. Friends will be received at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk & Fennell) on Tuesday December 12th from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church on Wednesday December 13th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
