We are sad to announce on February 16, 2024, Brian James Moar unexpectedly passed at Sarasota Hospital in Florida. His immediate family was there by his side.
Beloved husband of Marianne Moar, loving father to Brianne Moar & Justin Moar (Katie)
Doting grandfather to Gia, Wyatt & Mackenzie Moar (Maiya Bernard)
Brother to Gord (Rose) Moar & Terry Moar and Sister Susan (John) Peltier
Uncle to many nieces and nephews, cousin, friend, and handyman extraordinaire to many.
Brian grew up in the Binbrook area. He worked at Sears Center Mall, Westinghouse (Hamilton & Calgary), Prudential Steel (Calgary), Gerrard Oval Strapping (Burlington), and he became an Ancaster Firefighter & he proudly served the Hamilton community for a total of 27 years.
A Celebration of Life for Brian will be held on Saturday April 20th at 11 am at St. John’s Anglican Church, 272 Wilson St. E. Ancaster, Ontario
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Foundation; The Bruce Trail Conservancy or a charity of your choice in honour of Brian’s humanitarian endeavors
