Patricia Elizabeth Wilson passed away on May 30, 2024 with family by her side.
Pat was born December 3, 1936 to the late Annie and to the late Hector Villeneuve. Pat was a Deputy Sheriff for the north and worked out of the Haileybury Court house for many years until she retired. Although working full time she kept very busy with hockey events, figure skating events, non stop fundraising for all events like the Haileybury Heritage Museum and food bank. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage and making sure there was food always available as many people always stopped in to visit. She had the gift of life.
Pat married the love of her life Robert ‘Bob’ Wilson on June 30, 1956, and together they had two children Shaun (Sherri) and Heather (Kevin). She is also survived by her brother Billy (Margaret) who currently lives in Cambridge, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Pat is predeceased by her parents and by her brother Len (Kaye).
The family of the late Pat Wilson will receive relatives and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home – Haileybury, on Thursday June 06, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00pm and again on Friday June 07, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30am. The funeral mass will follow at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 11:00am. Father Wayne Mills officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Haileybury Heritage Museum or to the Haileybury Food Bank. Condolences and tributes can be left at www.buffamleveille.com
