With heavy hearts and much love, we said our final goodbyes on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Temiskaming Lodge. Surrounded by family and wonderful friend, Debbie. We are grateful for the attentive care by staff at this beautiful Lodge. Mervyn George Ellerton was predeceased by his Dad (Merv, 1966), Mom (Joyce, 2022), and brother (Ronald, 2022). He is survived by his best friend, Jane Alexandre, brother Ralph (Sue), Cathy, Betty (Don), Beverly (Craig), Yvette (Dan), many nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles. Merv grew up in Englehart, ON. We have fond memories of his childhood, fishing and playing with friends at Kap Kig Iwan, camping with family and playing at the Englehart arena. As an adult Merv was employed at the Town of Englehart. He enjoyed country music and cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Despite many challenges with arthritis, Merv was always cheerful with a loving soul and tender heart. We will meet again little brother and until then, you were loved. There will be no service as requested by Merv. Family will have a private gathering at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home – Haileybury Location 705-672-3122
