Peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Northview Nursing Home in Englehart, Anna Roy (nee Forcier) passed away in her 100th year.
Loving wife of the late Roland Roy (1978). Beloved mother of the late Gerald (Celica) Roy, Jeannine (Jim) Merzetti of Moncton, New Brunswick, Claude (Bonie) Roy of North Bay and Charmaine (Claude) Malette of Chelmsford.
Survived by her grandchildren Jennefer (Sheldon) O’Neill, Amy Gauthier (Brandon Corban), Chad (Britney) Gauthier , Nick Merzetti (Angela Lee), Lara (Steve) Lavoie, Gerald Roy (Heather), Christopher (Nadia) Roy, Terry (Christina) Malette, Tom (Elisha) Malette, Claude Jr. (Candice), Rachelle Lachapelle. Forever remembered by 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 1st at Buffam Leveille Funeral Home-New Liskeard Location, 251 Shepherdson Road, from 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, New Liskeard on Saturday, March 2nd at 11:00 am with Father Leo Rancourt officiating. Interment will take place in New Liskeard Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to express their sincere thank you to the Northview Nursing Home for the wonderful care they have given our mother, and for the excellent support throughout the palliative period.
