It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gilles Boileau at the age of 70 years. Mr Boileau passed away on Saturday April 6, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Liliane Boileau (nee Grisé), his two children Natalie (Pierre) Julien and Marc (Cinthia) Boileau as well as his cherished grandchildren Abby, Vanessa and Maggie.
Gilles was a simple but funny man who had a great sense of humor and joked with people. He had a big heart and loved to help people in need. He was a wonderful painter for 38 years and enjoyed every minute of it. He took great pride in being a perfectionist in everything he did. He actively enjoyed taking care of his family.
In keeping with Gilles wishes, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview crematorium – Haileybury. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences and memories can be left at www.buffamleveille.com
