It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Donald Labarge at the age of 65 years. Donald passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Thursday, February 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Donald was born May 17, 1958 in Haileybury to the late Yvette Allaire and to the late Edgar Labarge. Donald was a lifelong Haileybury and area resident and worked as custodian for CSCDGR for many years. After his retirement, Donald spent more time doing the things he loved like golfing and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, brother and friend to many. His presence will sorely be missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
Donald is survived by his son Pierre Labarge, by his sisters Annette and Claudette Labarge, by Louise Tetreault (Pierre’s mother) as well as his extended family members.
Donald’s final care has been entrusted to the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home-Haileybury Chapel. and his ashes will be placed in the Haileybury Catholic Cemetery Columbarium.
