In loving memory of Diane Leslie Drew (nee Sime)
Diane passed peacefully on Thursday June 27th, 2024, at the Northview Nursing Home in Englehart. Diane will be remembered most for exceptional kindness and her unparalleled generosity of volunteer time. Diane was involved in the church, the library, wheelchair bus fundraising, and countless other causes that required a pair of hands and a kind heart. Before she was a resident of Northview Nursing Home, Diane would volunteer time weekly doing the ladies hairdressing. Diane was the most loving of mothers and a devoted wife. She was predeceased by her husband Noman Drew. She is survived by her four children, Kathy Chaput (Henri), Karen Rule (Randy), Howard Drew (Anne), and Janice Simmens (Daniel), her six grandchildren, Matthew, Jesse, Issac, Jamin, Joshua, and Zachary, and her four great-grandchildren, Camren, Addisyn, Malachi, and Ayla.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Northview Nursing Home for providing excellent care during Diane’s stay.
The family will hold a private celebration in Englehart on July 5th, 2024, in Englehart, Ontario.
