Lyda Patricia “Pat” Crawford (nee: Thomas)
July 27, 1938 – September 23, 2024
Pat Crawford peacefully passed away in St. Catharines, Ontario on September 23, 2024 at the age of 86. Pat was the daughter of Earl Thomas and Florence Powless. She is survived by her children, Kelsey (Jackie), Jackie (Bird), Wendell, Valerie and Jake; as well as her sister-in-law Shirley Thomas, 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Pat had many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she adored. Special cousin to Renee Thomas-Hill. Predeceased by her parents, Earl and Florence, her children William, Allan and Valen Crawford, her partner Vernon Harris as well as three grandchildren; siblings Sidney, Ronald, and Faye Thomas.
Pat was a life long lover of animals and loved her dogs immensely. She loved traveling and listening to the Blues. She was fond of reading and spending time with her family. She was long-time community member of the Fort Erie Native Friendship Center. Big thank you’s to the staff of the Life Long Care program for their continuous support for many, many years.
Cremation has taken place at this time there will be no service, however a celebration of her life will commence at a later date. www.rhbanderson.com
She will be greatly missed, fiercely and forever loved by all who called her “Gramma Pat”.
