Lois Theresa MacKinnon
Lois passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother and sister. Lois spent her childhood in Smith Falls, Ontario where she had been born on June 30, 1941.
Lois worked at many jobs in factories over the years, usually making her way to management. She lived in many areas—Stratford, Burlington, Hamilton, and ended up at Peacock Point on Lake Erie. There she married Don MacKinnon and they made their winter trips to Florida and summers on Lake Erie. Lois moved to Cayuga after Don’s passing. Lois and best friend Barb Boucher made many car trips in Canada and the United States as well as several cruises in the Caribbean. She became an adopted grandmother to Barb’s grandchildren Josh and Noa McConachie. There was always laughter when Lois was around.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Rest in peace, Lois. Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville. www.rhbanderson.com
