ENNIS, William George
Bill was called home to be with his Lord on Tuesday June 25th 2024.
Bill and his family immigrated from Northern Ireland in 1969.
He was an electrician by trade and did his apprenticeship at Harland and Wolff shipyard in Northern Ireland.
Bill’s passion was singing for the Lord, as a beautiful Irish tenor, he sang both as a soloist and in quartets doing music Ministry for over 60 years.
Bill was Maintenance Coordinator at the Guelph Correctional Centre for 30+ years.
Bill is predeceased by his own loving wife of 63 years, Eleanor (Helen) Ennis. Beloved Father of Michael, Tracy (Late Mike MacNeil), and Heather. Proud Papa of Adam, Shawna (Jesse Miller) and Kyle. Proud G-Pa of Bronwen, Conor and Erik. Brother to Gladys (Late Billy Moore), as well as an uncle to Nieces and Nephews.
Special thanks to the Cardiac Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, as well as to Hospice Wellington for their exceptional care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at the Brombal Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Arkell Road Bible Chapel, 39 Arkell Road, Guelph on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Farnham Cemetery.
