Tanti, Walter Emmanuel,
Passed away peacefully at Dearness Home in London, Ont, on Friday, September 20 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Vivian Tanti, loving father to Gerry Tanti and the late Sandra of Guelph and Deborah Tanti of London. Loving grandfather to Kristen Senyshyn (Ty), Maranda Delaurentiis (Joe), Alana Dahl and Ben Dahl and proud great grandfather to Jessica Senyshyn, Thea DeLaurentiis, and the late Zach Senyshyn. Survived by his sister Marg Ziegler as well as many family and friends.
Walter lived in Guelph for the majority of his life and was a founder of Holy Rosary Parish. He worked at General Electric and enjoyed many years at his second home, a cottage on Otter Lake in the Muskoka’s.
The Tanti family will receive family and friends at Brombal Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (formerly McIntyre- Wilke) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. A light lunch will be served following the service
In memory of Walter, donations can be made to the funeral home on behalf of the Guelph Wish fund for Children or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Region.
