Obituary of Scott William Roberts
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott William Roberts. Scott was born on
November 26, 1951, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, with his loving wife, Rose, and
their cherished Caleb by his side.
Scott was a kind, loving, and generous man whose spirit touched the lives of many. He is
survived by a number of extended family members. He was predeceased by his beloved
daughter, Adrienne Roberts in 2010.
A devoted husband and father, Scott’s warmth and compassion were evident in everything he did.
He had a multitude of interests and was always engaged with the world around him, staying up to
date on current events and news.
Scott dedicated over 30 years of his life to serving as a correctional officer. Throughout his
career, he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of others. He
was particularly passionate about honoring fallen peace officers, ensuring their sacrifices were
recognized and remembered. His tireless research and outreach work were driven by a deep
sense of duty to ensure that they were not forgotten.
Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, commitment, and love
will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
In honor of Scott’s final wishes, cremation has already taken place, and a private memorial will
be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Guelph Humane Society in
