It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert James “Bob” Ash in Goderich on Friday, July 5, 2024.
Bob celebrated his 71st birthday on May 31. Born in Walkerton, Ontario, son of the late Thomas and Blanche (Shannon) Ash.
Bob served on the Stratford Police Service for 36 years, retiring as a Sergeant in 2012. He enjoyed hunting with the guys and spending time with his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Debra Brown. Loving father to Crystal (Adam) and Thomas (Chevonne); step-father to Barrett, Brittany (Jordan), Bethany, and Brooklyn (Owen). Cherished grandfather of Austin, Evelynn, Hunter, Hayden and Violet. Dear brother of Verlyn Kittmer (Bob).
Bob was deeply loved and will be forever remembered by many friends and family.
At Bob’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
