Telford, William Brent –
Peacefully, on Thursday September 28, 2023 at the Georgetown Hospital. Brent, in his 76th year, beloved husband of Karen for 54 years. Loving father of Shona (Greg), Angie and Brett (Ashleigh). Loved Poppa of Brayden, Jessie, Kylee, Jaedyn, Ellie, Jacob, Payton and Bentley. Great Poppa of Charlotte. Dear brother of Jeanette, Bonnie, Al (Barb), Debbie (Wayne), Laurie (Carl) and Lee (Leanne). Dear brother-in-law of Barb (Dick), Heather (the late Bob), the late Harry, Roy (Paulene), Carla (Jack) and Cathy (the late Brian). Brent will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Brent was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed hockey, baseball and bowling. Brent loved the outdoors, spending time with his family and his companions Whiskey, Sean and Brandy.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Monday October 2, 2023 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Interment Glen Williams Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Sick Kids Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
