Joe Alessandrini Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joe Alessandrini, who left us peacefully on July 24, 2024 at the age of 76. Beloved husband to Cathy for 33 wonderful years, Joe was a devoted family man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Born to the late Antonio and Elvira Alessandrini, Joe was a loving father to his five children: Jason (Tina), Evan (Shelley), Christine, Nadine (Jake), and Steven. He was also a proud Nonno to his cherished grandchildren: Milena, Luca, Leah, Daniel, Avery, Liam, and Ezra.
Joe is survived by his dear sister, Silvana Colafranceschi, wife of the late Armando. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Ed Simpson (Cheryl) and his mother-in-law Doris Ouellet (Pierre).
A kind and compassionate soul, and a hard working, successful business man, Joe’s presence brought joy and warmth to his family and friends. His legacy of love, dedication, and family values will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass to celebrate Joe’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown at 10:30 a.m. Interment Glen Williams Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society in Joseph’s memory.
