Obituary of Elaine Benner
The family of Elaine Marguerite Benner (nee Provins) is saddened to announce she passed peacefully surrounded by love on October 3, 2023 at age 86.
Born January 25, 1937, in Picton, Ontario, Elaine lived most of her life in Fort Erie, Ontario and called Fort Erie home.
Loving mother to Jack/Zeke Benner, Laura Benner, Lisa Rusal (Frank), Jason Benner, and Joel Benner (Leslie). Loving Grandmother to Gordon Pritchard, Daniel Benner (Kristin), Brogan Newman (Josh), Elainey Hay (Geoffrey) and Emily Benner. Loving Great Grandmother to Finley Hay and Grace Benner. Elaine is also survived by the mothers of her grandchildren and former daughters in-law Donna Benner and Nicole Benner and son-in-law Jose Aguilar, all of whom she maintained loving relationships with.
Elaine was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Lawrence Provins, brother Lawrence Provins Jr, and sister Margaret Lilbourne (nee Provins).
Funeral Service @ Benner Funeral Home Benner Rd. Fort Erie 11:00 am Saturday, October 7, 2023.
A small luncheon @ the Fort Erie Legion to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to World Wildlife Federation or the local SPCA. She loved all animals big and small.
